On August 28th, one of the opening activities of the 2023 China ASEAN Education Exchange Week, jointly organized by the China Thailand Higher Education Cooperation Alliance, Guiyang University, and Jiangsu University, was held at Guiyang University. The sub forum of the 5th China Thailand Higher Education Cooperation Forum, the “Sino Foreign Student Exchange Forum,” was integrated online and offline.
Li Can, a member of the Party Committee and vice president of Guiyang University, E Xuewen, secretary-general of the China Thailand Higher Education Cooperation Alliance, Cui Yong, vice president of the “the Belt and Road” International Talent Institute of Jiangsu University, and more than 80 teachers and students from Guiyang University, Tianjin University, Jiangsu University, Anhui University, Xiamen University, China University of Geology (Wuhan), Chongqing University, Northeastern University, Shaanxi Normal University, Wuhan University of Technology, Thailand University of Galaxin attended the seminar.
Under the theme of “Injecting Youth Power into the Joint Construction of the Belt and Road”, Guiyang University fosters friendly exchanges between Chinese and foreign young students, enhances youth friendship, solidifies people to people and cultural exchanges, and makes contributions to serving the construction of the “the Belt and Road” through the platform of ASEAN Exchange Week.
Exue Wen delivered the opening speech, highlighting that the “Sino foreign Student Exchange Forum”,in conjunction with the “Knowledge and Action Guizhou” Silk Road Youth Exchange Program, provides students who participate in this event with an opportunity to perceive Guizhou and understand China, and provides a platform for mutual learning and exchange among Chinese and foreign students, which has been welcomed by the participating students. At the same time, he also hopes that the majority of Chinese and foreign young students can use this event to make friends, exchange ideas, establish friendships, gather consensus, and personally experience the essence of the beautiful Guizhou and the ancient Chinese culture, becoming the promoters and builders of building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Cui Yong delivered a closing speech, congratulating the success of this Sino foreign student exchange forum. He believed that young people are the future of the world.
